  1. Main Abilities Charged Shot (CS) - high-damage, long range ability with a charge time; always cast at max charge; always surge. Rapid Fire (RF) - multi-tap channel, main spam ability; synergizes with Trigger Fingers AMP to reduce cooldowns on all abilities. Circle will center on the nearest target, positioning can be important when fighting groups of enemies. Flame Burst (FB) - moderate damage ability usable after a critical hit; off global cooldown, can be cast at any time. Assassinate (Ass) - single-target ability, does much more damage on enemies under 30% health; unlocked through AMPs. True Shot (TS) - multi-tap, high-damage, and very long range ability; restores 15 spell power on third hit; always surge. Arcane Missiles (AM) - channeled ability that applies a debuff increasing magic damage taken and a buff increasing magic damage dealt; restores 5 spell power per hit; always surge. True Shot build The first AMP point you unlock in the primal matrix can go into 3/3 armor pierce. After that, there's not really anywhere to put them; you can pretty much put them wherever you want, and if you have 4 extras you can put them into Multi-Burst or Power Surge, but neither adds noticeable DPS. Without the RMT set, ability points should go into Flame Burst; with RMT set, they should be into Assassinate. DPS rotation without RMT set: (Opener) surged CS, surged TS, surged Ass(x2), surged RF, surged CS, RF, surged TS, surged CS (Rotation) RF, surged RF, surged CS, RF, surged TS, surged CS Use FB off cooldown. Throw surged Assassinates if you build up too much spell power. Once the enemy's health is below 30% you can also throw in Assassinates after the Charged Shots. DPS rotation with RMT set: If you can, cast RF outside of combat to build up stacks of Bullet from Beyond (BfB); by right-clicking the buff under your unit frame to remove a stack and casting Rapid Fire to reapply the buff you can keep the timer from running out over longer periods. (Opener with BfB) surged Ass(x2), surged CS, surged TS, surged RF, surged CS, RF, surged RF, Ass, surged TS, surged CS, Ass (Opener without BfB) surged CS, surged Ass(x2), surged TS, surged RF, surged CS, RF, surged RF, Ass, surged TS, surged CS, Ass (Rotation) RF, surged RF, surged CS, RF, Ass, surged TS, surged CS, Ass Still use FB off cooldown. Once the enemy's health is below 30% you can throw in another Assassinate after the first CS in the rotation. Every 2-3 rotations, you should have enough spare spell power (about 70-80% into the second bar of spell power) to surge the Assassinate before TS for extra damage when it consumes BfB; the rotation would then end with: surged Ass, Ass, surged TS, surge CS. Arcane Missiles build Extra AMP points from the primal matrix can go into Armor Pierce 3/3 and Piercing Shots - beyond that, there's no particularly good place to put them. Ability points should go into Flame Burst without the RMT set or Assassinate with the RMT set. Runes Well of Power (GA set) is a must. Flame Surge (DS set) is lackluster, but the slight DPS it adds does make it better than other sets, just not a priority. Fusion runes: Mordechai Redmoon's Ammunition (weapon), Deadly Blows (head), Flurry (chest), True Strike (hands). If you have 5/6 eldan gauntlets, put the GA set in them (3 majors, 2 minors) and forego a fusion rune. All other slots should be filled with Devastation runes (2 major divine, 1 major pure) up to 6/6; any extra slots can be filled with Onslaught runes (divine major vigor/strikethrough). If you have 3 Devastation runes and an Onslaught vigor rune in something and don't need the strikethrough from another Onslaught rune, a Rejuvenation critical rune can be used. If you need the strikethrough, a Devastation rune can be substituted with an Onslaught strikethrough rune. Stats Strikethrough should be about 11% for GA, 17% for DS, and 19% for RMT. Keep in mind that the proc from a pure True Strike rune is worth ~1.2% strikethrough, and a divine one is worth ~1.5% strikethrough. Without the RMT set, you'll want to aim for about 22% critical chance and as much critical severity as possible; vigor is a good secondary stat, but multi-hit is undesirable. With the RMT set, you'll want to aim for about 212% critical severity and as much critical chance and vigor as you can get, with preference given to critical chance. Multi-hit is still undesirable, but less so as you approach the soft caps for other stats (10,000 rating). Notes Gadgets should be used just before TS/AM in your rotation, while BfB is up if you have the RMT set. A particularly good gadget is the DIY Insanity Detector from the Space Madness expedition, though as it currently doesn't have prime levels you'll have to spend keys opening the lockbox at the end to get one with a decent item level.   3. Hey all, There has been some interest in having community run servers. Currently we have a plex server / minecraft server (currently skyblock) / GMOD server. I would like to host more server for us, such as an Ark Server and a Arma server. The only thing holding me back is I do not have the hardware needed to host these servers. Talking with some of the guys, if anyone is interested, I will set up a donation for some hardware. We have a small cube case with a compatible ITX motherboard that will fit on my rack. We will start with 1x8Gb of memory. (The mobo has 2 dim slots with max 32Gb) The CPU of choice is a Xeon E301230 V3. (I just upgraded plex to the v2, its a beast for the price) I could provide the hard drive with one I already have (That being said a fresh one would be nice for the build) Using a Xeon cpu, a graphics card is needed, i'll find a cheap one on ebay. I figure the price will be around $50 for the card. And then all that is left is CPU cooler and fans. And when it comes to what games to host and add ons to use we will be diplomatic and only host and use addons that the a majority of the community would like to use. Edit: Going through my closet I found 2 sticks of GSkill 2GB 1600 ram and a WD 320Gb drive we can use for starters. I also have the old Plex server cpu, I3-3220. We can also use this to start with, but doing so would limit us to LGA Socket 1155. This difference in generation doesn't make a big difference in immediate performance. Using the LGA 1155 motherboard we have more options for better Xeon CPUs as they come down in price. Finally I am playing a mmo at the moment and it is Elder Scrolls Online. Also I am beginning construction on 12x30ft greenhouse for growing hydroponic business and no it not for that. I may even log onto TS soon so you may once again hear my magnificent voice.

Hey Everyone, Attackroot will be putting a more in depth review on what is coming, but since they have now finally announced Beta 1 coming in early July I wanted to go over an important topic about monthly subscription; First a few of us backed the game a few years ago (not as many compared to Ashes of Creation, I only know of Attackroot, Balstan, I believe Falkirk and myself) for subscription forever what that means in Camelot unchained is instead of a $15 or whatever payment per month the first 3 years there is no sub at all and every year after that it will cost 1$ for the year. Now that was a long while ago and you would think that it is no longer available but based on the stream today announcing the beta 1 official date (attack will give more info on that) the owner stated that the unlimited package will still be available to buy up to Beta 1. Now I don't know the cost of it now compared to then which could be way higher than you would ever pay so take it with a grain of salt and we don't know if that means through beta 1 or until July right before beta 1 but it might be something to think about. This game if it provides everything they talk about could be the biggest pvp battles, biggest group scenarios, and biggest open world experiences without lagging like most others and seems like mainly action combat (Ashes of Creation is also supposed to have huge open world type scenarios and a unique world progression system just like Camelot but we have no idea on lag for that game either one might be better than the other and Lag could be the killer of either or both games). The lag is being tested in Camelot a lot since it is a key feature when they started and they are building their own engine for that reason, unlike most others like AOC they are using the unreal engine which might not be able to handle the amount of people, we will see if one or if both can do it right or deliver. But with the 3 main games Warpigs guild is keeping close eye on as an MMO (Ashes of Creation, Camelot Unchained and Crowfall) there is a good chance this could have the best game play experience, we don't know yet since none of us have seen it or played it. Right now based on actual playing and/or seeing Crowfall looks like the most action combat but AOC looks like the most intricate with dual classes but that is also up in the air until we can play them both. Also Crowfall isn't done so it could be more intricate than we know especially since it is also still in beta and they have mentioned a pretty robust leveling system that is supposed to be added. What we do know is AOC will have some part of tab targeting which could be the killer for us since we lean more towards action combat (examples would be Wildstar and Black Desert Online) and I could be wrong but I don't remember Crowfall having any tab targeting Haboo might be able to fill us more in on that, so we will see. But back to Camelot, this game could be amazing, but totally understandable it is hard to back something that you have no idea if it will be good or not. So from March'ish time frame they will be adding more and more features to the game up to June 12th where they have stated will be the finished build for Beta 1 (beta 1 ISN'T a finish build at all but t looks like a lot of combat system will be in place just not the specifics of talents most likely) which also gives Attack and myself to go in the game and review as much as possible and if you are interested in going after the unlimited sub package it will gives us some time to see if it would be worth it since we have already paid for it. We are both alpha backers so we can go in and test/play what the game will look like before the deadline if it is July 4th. Now if the deadline is longer than July 4th they stated that Beta 1 will at first have limited NDA (they stated you can stream some of the content during limited NDA, but examples of when you can't would be times like stress test, etc they want to have a fair shot at making large scale perfect and flawless before people get turned off unfairly) and no NDA farther into beta 1, so that would give us even more time to stream it for you and see if it is something you would be interested in. So please let me or Attack or both know so we can specifically give you updates before the time is lost since if this turns into the game or if we play a couple of main games and this is one of them it might save you money in the long run. I know a few others were interested in the game like Code1nike, but you might not be interested in paying the bigger amount upfront especially if you have no idea if this game is going to be worth playing. I know that most of us have been very bored lately with no real game we can sink time in and/or enjoy (that doesn't mean we have nothing to play but I believe most of us are really wanting a new MMO to sink a lot of time into rather than just a game we can play a couple/few hours and be done and not really be that satisfied on what we just did), in saying that I will be asking Attack (I'm sure in between his and my schedules we can fit a little time) to getting in there finally to give more actual game play in depth reviews, which other than the few times individually jumping in just to see a few things since the product was soooo far away from release that the combat wasn't even in the game. So here is finally the chance after like 4+ years to see what this game is really about, but expect sometime in March together we will start jumping in to see the new features, give some feedback (without breaking NDA) and while the game progresses before that June 12th date we can share more and more with what we think. Pretty positive we will both start to stream during the none NDA timelines as well, so you can see it from both views, but for now if you are interested in the game let us know so we can give you the feedback and you have more to go off of before making or not making a decision.   9. You are right Luke it I think it would be more of a group play than a single player game but if enough of us play it could be a fun game. My roommate (SoCalDistortion forum poster guy) has been playing all of the beta's so far with another friend. I have looked at the game play and it seems fun but it there isn't any world events yet or anything like that it is group play from what I can see, I asked him to do another post in the next couple of days to give his review so far. From what I can tell playing with others is where it is fun but what you can do in game so far is: 1. Treasure hunt - It looks pretty cool you first get a treasure map and you have to solve a puzzle (examples would be like riddles, etc.) then you have to dig it out of the ground or find it in a sunken ship, etc. Then certain chests can do things to you while caring it (such as the you can get drunk so you can't walk straight or swim straight, or it does damage to you, etc, etc.). Last you can steal the treasures from others which leads to the next item to do. 2. Pirate other people - this could be stealing, killing or sinking others ships. People will do it to you so you do it back. The bigger your group the bigger your ship so there is an advantage if you have a lot of people. From what I have watched when seeing my roommate play his 2 man ship can't out run the bigger ships but they maneuver better, but more cannons so again disadvantage. The other item they just added is new guns so you can get a sniper rifle and snipe others on the other ships which is cool. The combat with cannons and guns and swords is pretty cool and it looks like that is the progression of the game is to buy better equipment by turning in the treasures to get money. 3. exploring - from what I can see the map is massive, from islands to underwater exploring. and that also means tide, weather conditions, etc play a big part of the game. for example if you are at the helm and you set course but then get off the wheel and let it just go the boat will shift directions to the conditions and you will run off course so it takes team work to do anything. Overall I think this could be a really fun game if we can get a committed group for even a few hours a week especially (not saying every week you must be here just if we have like 10 people and 5 or more can show up for set game times it could be really fun), in saying that especially with the lack of games to play I'm itching for something new and fun to play so I am in, but I would suggest to become a insider and make sure you are an insider it is free to become you. It is a little confusing by just registering doesn't mean you are an insider you have to click on become an insider and register as an insider. I have gotten the last 3 beta invites but no one to play with yet (my roommate plays on console I don't know why ask him, he has a perfectly good computer capable of VR but refuses haha), BUT the game is already getting setup for cross-platform so he could play with us once the game goes live. https://www.seaofthieves.com/insider He says that most likely the next beta will be open beta so become an insider ASAP just in case it would be fun to get enough of us to play and see if this is a game to fulfill our time while waiting on one of our MMO's we are signed up for. Please keep me informed of any issues and we can address them as we go. All mods and server settings are up for discussion but keep in mind we will only make adjustments if the majority wants them.

  17. I should have the Minecraft server up later tonight (6/10). For the server we will find what works but for the start I am looking to keep it as a difficult / survival type game. Difficultly is at max and I will be adding mods that add more enemies. Aside from those I will set up some utility mods, such as a world map but nothing majorly game changing. If there are mods you would like to see please post them in the addons thread.   19. Intro Hey guys! Most of my information comes from this guide link here but I will give my experience as well. Kyndig is our full-time raid Esper healer so I'm sure he'll chime in on most of the stuff I write up as he has more experience. Builds General heal build Base bolster, T4 Soothe, T4 Reverie, T4 Pyro, T4 Fixation, T4 Warden, T4 Mental Boon, 1 utility slot. If you have more Ability points, plug them into Reverie. Decent AoE heals, good mix of burst healing and sustained healing. If you feel you need more interrupts, cleanse, CC break drop mental boon and tier up reverie with remaining ability points going to soothe. Single Target tank/lattice/gloomclaw build base bolster, T8 Mind over Body, T4 Reverie, T4 Mending Banner, T4 Fixation, T4 Pyro, 2 utility slots. On gloomclaw, stand in healing circle and spam your builders while using mending banner as quickly as possible. Also, bring a cc break in case you get the egg on last phase. The T4 Reverie is to help healing raid on your side. If you need more raid heals taking Warden isn't a bad idea either but it's usually not needed. On Lattice, same idea as gloomclaw you just heal the wall instead of an elemental. Spam builders and use Mending Banner in as short of time as possible. Runes There's two ways people go here. Neither are really wrong it's just depends on the raid in terms of the type, burst or sustained, of damage that will go out. Pre-RMT seems to be more favorable to gear/rune toward Multi-hit/Multi-hit severity since damage doesn't usually come out as bursty as it does in RMT. RMT gearing/runing towards critical hit/severity will do better for the reasons stated earlier. That being said, Cynosure 6/6 Concentration 2/6 would be for MH gearing on most slots except for fusions. On gear that takes fusions, 6/6 Cynosure and 4/6 Concentration on slots would be ideal. Keep in mind you can also get more MH from striker set even though the set is better suited for dps than heals. For RMT, 6/6 Resurgence 2/6 Concentration on fusion slots and 6/6 Resurgence 4/6 Concentration on non fusion pieces. I'll list fusions I use below: Weapon - Overflow Head - Meditation Chest -Conservation Hands -Protection Runing for RMT I'd refer to the link I listed above as he shows a screenshot of how he has runed. I'll list how I've runed my gear to this point below and then talk about GA/DS sets after. I have the GA set Guardian 8/8, well 9/8 since RMT runes upgraded give me that. I didn't take the DS set as I felt it wasn't as useful as just having the "right stats" to heal more efficiently. My reasoning here is because the 4/8 DS set does less than the fusion rune "Protector" and that fusion rune takes one rune slot. Also, even the 8/8 DS set doesn't seem that great to me. This is what the 8/8 Hardened set does: Bolster now heals for an additional 212 health ever second for 3 seconds to 5 allies near the target. Additionally, Bolster grants 10% armor to an ally. While the armor seems nice, especially on tanks, 10% really isn't much and even the first part of the bonus about turning bolster into an AoE heal so long as the target of the Bolster is near allies doesn't seem like it'll do much in a raid with little to no melee. Now that being said, I might try to get it at some point because the rune's stats are useful to the Critical Hit build I'm running. Still, I'm in no real rush to grab up the DS set. More on Stats!!! Be warned, I'm gonna talk about stats. If that bores you, sorry, I want to cement down what our stats actually do for our healing and that in turn makes you at least a better healer even if you have no idea what you are doing. First I want to link my stats I have right now unbuffed. Keep in mind I'm raiding in RMT so I have my gear runed for Critical Hit setup. For a Multi-Hit setup having about 55-57% MH will be plenty to heal efficiently. Multi-Hit gives our heals a chance to heal for a small amount after the initial heal lands. Multi-Hit Severity controls how much of that small heal you get. Critical Hit gives our heals a chance to heal more than they would normally. Critical Hit Severity controls just how much more of a heal we land when we crit. Focus pool is our "mana" from other MMO's and Focus Recovery Rate is how much our Focus is returned to us. Intensity increases healing from our base heal times the % Intensity but also increases the focus cost by the same amount. So I won't talk much about the throughput stats, MH/MHS/Crit/Crit Sev/Intensity other than stick with one or the other in terms of MH or Crit. Have some Intensity but not too much. I currently am at about 18% Intensity and I've had to make changes to my FP/FRR to make up for that, so don't go too crazy with Intensity unless you just wanna pad your healing numbers. Focus Pool and FRR is a balancing act. Having too much of a Focus Pool with low FRR is just as detrimental as having too much FRR and not enough Focus Pool. Simply, have a balance of both to where you won't run out of focus during a long fight. For example, with my FP and FRR, I can count maybe on one hand where I've run out of focus in a raid fight if that helps. AMPs This is my AMP setup for my general healing build. Nothing special. Have Bingo for added Psi point generation just in case I need some burst heals. This is my setup for my Single-target build. Notable AMP's are the Build-Up/Hard to Hit works well with our single target Mind over Body heal. I'd grab Bingo too for reasons stated above. Those AMP's allow us to heal tanks more efficiently. Healing as an Esper/Tricks of the trade The whole idea behind Esper healing is to build Psi points to then use finishers to produce burst or sustained healing depending on the damage coming out. Our role is very flexible meaning we can heal tanks and raid decently. Carbine appears, with the RMT set, to want us to tank heal more so than raid heal, but I don't have the RMT set and I don't have problems healing tanks with the right build. In some special fights, gloomclaw and lattice, the single target build will blow other healers away in terms of hps on that elemental/lattice wall. Burst rotations involve maximizing Psi point generation using spells that build Psi points to get more finishers off in as short time period. It's very important to know all boss encounters before healing them as you can better heal the encounter knowing what spells in your arsenal will be most effective. Lastly, come prepared for raids with food, boosts, etc. whatever you need to do your job. People tend to like their healers more if they can count on them! As far as what type you should use, it really depends on where your stats are unbuffed. Think this is all I can offer for now. Please let me know if I missed anything!

Favorite activities are as follows: absorbing lore in a new lore rich product (usually to about halfway), playing single player in most any strategy or 4k game (usually with cheats), playing co-op on SC2, and raiding with a group on Fizzcrank (kinda burnt at at time of posting). Hopefully this passes for a intro (PS, Ive joined through EvE online from years back and been training ever since, even without being online).

  22. I haven't watched the video yet as I'm enjoying a chill day off at the pool with gf but I'll add my two cents. Recently, over the past 6+ months, I've been really bored with gaming in general and also busy with real life stuff. That being said, relating to wildstar, the game was truly one of the best experiences I've had in my long gaming lifetime. The closest thing to another MMO experience would have been WOW. Wildstar gave me a lot of the similar experiences I had in wow: making friends, being pissed off at people in the guild, good release from everyday life, challenging content both group and solo, etc. Dispite what most people's opinions are of wildstar, I loved everything about it and would buy it again if only to hang with you guys more. I still go back and watch some of the videos from time to time that code uploaded on his YouTube channel just for nostalgia. Even though the game had a ton of bugs, poor performance, and horrible developmental issues I'd still play it again at the level I did provided I had the time to do so. My experiences throughout wildstar, and other MMOs are one of the reasons I'm so hooked on vanilla wow since it wasn't something I ever experienced since I came into WOW at the tail end of vanilla BC expansions. Wildstar will always have a special place in my heart, but I doubt I'll see a game with that devotion to real MMO experience as most I see now are poorly implemented, rushed for cash cow developerment, and/or lacks the same interest as the previous games I've played had. Again, just my two cents. Gotta go gf giving me that I'm gonna beat your ass look if you don't get off the phone lol! Peace out boys!

The people responsible for the lights hope.org vanilla wow servers are merging the low population pve server and pvp server into one pvp server lightbringer and creating a new fresh pvp server Northdale which releases June 23rd. I'm considering rerolling horde since their pvp racails are so good and in general the horde has a better community compared to the alliance. This is likely the last chance to experience vanilla wow before Blizzard's release of their server which is currently unknown(I know big surprise, right?). If interested in hanging out, casual leveling with me hit up on here or in game on Saintluke or Kyaras-I don't know if those names will be available on launch. Peace out!

  27. Hey all, Some things to know about this announcement. 1. Feature Lock date - June 12, 2018. This is where they are gonna lock all the settings and use them for the launch of beta. Us alpha players are testing when we can the systems now, and what they will add as we get closer. Right now we are mainly in the break the build testing. They are slowly adding more and more stuff tho and we are just getting on attempting the crash the servers. Also this date is not set in stone, it could happen earlier, they are hoping we get enough testing done and have everything stable by this time if not sooner to get ready for beta. 2. Beta 1 Date - July 4, 2018 - I know it is strange to have this as a launch date for any kind of testing, but they said this is kinda the middle point for it being to soon or to late. The content in this will be everything that gets locked on the feature lock date. nothing more will be added and nothing will be taken away. As well all know from previous game that when u lock features in one 1 patch, and they release another patch i could break things from the older patch. (WoW vanilla tuning patches). Also this date if possible will be pushed forwards if it is ready sooner. I know some people dont like when they give dates and then change them, but in this its a good thing. When and if they have the servers ready for beta 1 and launch then they want to get as much testing in on them as possible and as many players on them as possible. so the sooner they can get even more in the better for the game over all. also beta 1 people will be getting allowed in sooner to help with testing before Beta 1 launches. And once Beta 1 begins. beta 2 people will be let in early also. this is because they had to pushed the dates back from the original beta dates. 3. Special testing events during both phases - They will be doing unique and special testing events during certain parts of closed alpha and beta 1. it may be things like everyone logs on and pick so many flower or some other gathering materials or logs in and trying to just killed everyone, or anything else they can think of. They have alot of systems in this game that are gonna need testing so expect issues when certain things are being asked to be tested. Also with break the build tests we are trying to play a class and break that, this is more of a login server breaking thing and well as stability in server. Questions on this Announcement - 1. Dates - June 12, 2018 feature lock - July 4, 2018 Beta 1. 2. Q: Will we be getting a review of the features of beta around feature lock? A: Absolutely, and if u go to the website there is already some info about it. You have the beta 1 doc, you have the check lists. And now that we have a date we will be putting out a road map to beta. and will be updating the road map on a week by week basis. Also we will be doing more media content about more specific aspects of the game. 3. Q: that Packages available will they be changing? A: Yes, as we go into beta 1 we will be changing the tiers as we announced before, will be chaning the refund policy as well. Wont be at the begining of beta 1, we will give a 30 days noticed before we change it. 4. Q: can we send our beta invites as part of this?? A: No not at the opening of Beta 1, the invites are for later in beta. 5. Q: Since July 4 isnt a Saturday, is it a special test date and will the rest of the tests be on saturday, and will we have alpha saturday tests before that? A: Yes, it is both, we are doing random and schedule test. we will be doing that going forward as well. we wanna get all the alphas in and a bunch of betas in over the next 4 months. 6. Q: is beta one a constantly playable environment or event testing like alpha has been? A: Both, because of we know there are different systems that we need testing and some of the need a static world with resources to gather, example in the safe world island building a house u need static resources in the environment to do that. the testing island will be changing more and more. 7. Q: How much will we see in Beta 1 that we havent seen in the previous builds. A: A lot, well just say a lot. 8. Q: Does feature lock mean every race and class?/ A: No, there is no way in hell we could have every class out in time for that. Feature lock means features locked for that build, it is not the final project. We will need to foucs on fixing features in that build, and then when more builds come out we'll introduce more features. 9. Q: do u think people will forget that July 4 is about Independence day and not about Beta 1? A: I don't think anyone will ever forget Will Smiths heroic battle to defend the Earth against aliens. 10. Q: when will we begin to see more fleshed out classes with more example abilities, etc? A: Your seeing that now, and will continue over the next 4 months. we have 9 classes to get into balance, we haven't done any of this during alpha because that's not was alpha is for, that's what beta 1, 2 and 3 are for. 11. Q: will the founder packages that included costume buildings be included before the 4th of July? A: No 12. Q: How far are beta 1 build features from the expected release features? and how long are the beta periods expected to be? A: beta 1 begin should start 1 year before the release of the year. now we want to get the game out in 2019, that is the plan nothing has changed. but depending on what happens and the support we get from our in and with testing it may happen or it might be pushed back some.. But just focus on beta 1 and then other betas. 13. Q: Good Date, taking the time to get more polished. Do you still categorize it as old school start to beta? If everything goes right how long do u plan beta 1 to last and will it be the longest phase of beta? A: Mostly, and do i expect beta 1 to be the longest period? yes i do. We want to get as much of the game into beta 1 as makes sense. we want to have as much in that when we begin testing so we can do all the tuning we need before we go to the next stage of beta. We want to use beta 1 to get as much bugs and problems fix as possible with the features we are choosing, and also we want it to be as long as possible but not be to long, because if we stay at that stage its not a good thing have the same bugs all the time. And we want to get beta 1 done right. we dont wanna rush the phases. but the key is to not put something out that isn't ready. 14. Q: You said you would start beta early if it is ready... but what if it isnt ready? will u start it any way or push it back? A: Push it back and fall on my sword we dont want to push something that isnt ready. we havent spent this much time and money on rushing a product out, we dont do that. You have waiting far to long to be presented with something that isnt ready. So if we arent ready we will take the heat and push it back. 15. Q: What will be the status of C.U.B.E. during beta? A: At some point we will be getting another C.U.B.E. build out and going, but it is not the #1 priority. your going to see parts if it in testing because it is needed but wont have the new polished verison out any time soon. We hired another engineer to work on it and that will help but again its not the priority atm. 16. Q: When will an official game play trailer be revealed? A: Oh, well before beta. we will be having alot of trailers out for people to look at to decided whether or not u wanna kick in. We dont want to have u kick in with out any info with having a no refund policy that just not the way to do it. 17 Q: when will people be allowed to stream it? A: We will allow limited NDA streaming during beta one and then sometime during beta we will lift the NDA all together. 18 Q: Number of players expected to be in beta 1? ball park? A: Umm.. No, i know how many backers we have and we havent talked about that officially. We just dont know how many are going to show up. We are expecting a lot better turn out then what we had during alpha but thats to be expected. But it could be lower then we expect because alot of time people just want to wait until the game is ready. 19. Q: EU server before or during beta 1? and will US and Eu span up or at different times? A: 100% guaranteed. We hope to test the EU server before we even get into beta 1, that was one of our goals and we are also looking at switching from AWS to Google. the engineer that has been working on getting the EU server up has been working on the google platform. but its not a priority before beta 1... but it is a priority for during beta 1. but we will still be working on getting it before if we can. 20. Q: Are there still some big technical challenges left A: Yeah the same one that we haven't talked about over the past week and with massively interview. its mainly How far can we push our stability. there is a long list of things we still need to work on and make better, example: the UI elements making them better or just implementing certain parts of the UI. 21. Q: When are we going to get more info about the races and the new races. A: over the next 4 months, now that we have this date out for beta we will be going back and talking more about the races and other aspects of the game. alot more info is coming over the months so get ready. 22. Q: how much impact did the capital investment have on the date for Beta 1, both in terms of push up the date because you had more funding, but also in terms of did the investors push for an earlier beta date (earlier than you would have otherwise planned) A: This helped with getting more hours into creating the game, by getting more people in to help and aloud us to pick the things we wanted to focus on for this date we picked. but the investors didn't even know the date for beta when they invested. Put we are hiring more people and being aggressive on hiring so we can build a better game not speed it up. 0 pressure from the investors to speed up the process. 23. Q: Crafting in beta 1? and are we going to get more info on the crafting? A: in the following weeks we are going to release info. its a big part of the game and we want to give alot of information to you. We wont have cosmetic customization in beta 1. the foundation for crafting is most important. 24. Q: If beta 1 goes well what is the predicted reasonable launch date? A: some times in 2019 that's all i can say right now. 25. Q: Will builders brigade start before beta 1 and also maybe halp with scenario main keep/starting areas in main island? A: Yes and Yes. 26. Q: when can we expect to see more beta 1 updates? A: More then likely starting in the beginning of March since its the middle of the month now. 27. Q: Life time sub, and how much longer that is gonna be available? A: Through the beginning of beta 1 and and then we arent 100% sure yet, but after that is going to go away, just not sure on how soon. it'll go away in stages as well as refunds will go away. 28. Q: With Net Neutrality being knocked down will it effect launch and cause lag at all? A: not really anything that effects us. 29. Q: will there be scenarios in the finished game? A: No, we said as a general rule you may have some battle grounds, could we have scenarios?? yes we could for specific events and things, but realistically this game is about Open World RvR. with the exception obviously of The Depths. 30. Q: Will there be some kind of guide for beta, or will players have to figure out everything? A: Of course there will be a guide, we have some complex systems in place that with out guides everyone would be lost. 31. Q: Will there be any PVE type stuff like The Depths at all in beta 1? A: No, only thing pve in beta 1 will be crafting. Maybe mines that will lead to The Depths but no Depth in beta 1 32. Q: What is the most excited you see in the future over the next 6 months? A: Large Scale Scenario like 1000 people in a large scale battle. will be excited to see those.   29. What are you looking for out of the server from server settings to mods wanted? For me I'd mainly like the Taming and Breeding rates increased. Ex: TamingSpeedMultiplier=3.000000 BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier=0.026000 MatingIntervalMultiplier=0.001000 EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=24.997000 BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=65.000000 BabyImprintingStatScaleMultiplier=3.000000 AllowAnyoneBabyImprintCuddle=True The Breeding rates are all or none because its the only way I know of to get fast breeding and get all most of the cuddles. I tested this with Dodo's and it takes about 20-30 mins to fully grow from 15h 25m 55s normal games. Also getting about 80% done on cuddles. I have not tested on other but I'll try some other dinos later. I could live with have gathering levels increased or normal rates. Leaning more towards normal rates because if we want a more difficulty game that should help. Ex for increased rates: DinoHarvestingDamageMultiplier=3.200000 ResourceNoReplenishRadiusPlayers=0.500000 ResourceNoReplenishRadiusStructures=0.200000 HarvestAmountMultiplier=5.000000 HarvestHealthMultiplier=1.500000 ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier=0.350000 For a more difficulty game we can increase the base difficulty from 5 to 10. 10 being the most difficult. No matter what we should have the difficulty level at 5 for 150 max level dinos.(5 being being the base game level difficulty) 10 would make 350 the max but the game should cap them at 300 max level. I am not for increasing the difficulty mainly because when you increase the max difficulty it also increase the loot scale of the server. 5 is a 500%, 10 is a 1000% meaning you make it easier to get better items from drops making the the game easier over all when you want to make it more difficult. For Ex: I killed a T-rex on a live server with a Ascendant sword and one flack piece with chitin gear. I almost died with I believe 400hp dont know melee dam or level of T-rex. Plus other setting can be change to make a more difficulty game like turning of the ability to control your gamma levels players stats or wild or tamed dinos stats. But changing these can make the game really unplayable in my opinion. Ex: MaxDifficulty=True Other nice things to have is no structure collision, lay egg timer and Exp multiplier, Unlimited Respecs, and others. I really like the no structure collision makes building much more fun and enjoying. Lay egg timer still need more testing on this but still nice to have. Exp multiplier will make the leveling and game over all easier for all. But I can live with an increased rate or normal rates. Unlimited Respecs really a must. Ex: bAllowUnlimitedRespecs=True bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=True LayEggIntervalMultiplier=0.200000 CropGrowthSpeedMultiplier=3.000000 StructureDamageRepairCooldown=0.010000 PerPlatformMaxStructuresMultiplier=5.000000 DisableStructureDecayPvE=True AllowFlyerCarryPvE=True AllowCaveBuildingPvE=True ForceAllowCaveFlyers=True OverrideStructurePlatformPrevention=True XPMultiplier=2.500000 OxygenSwimSpeedStatMultiplier=1.000000 MODS I like as little mods as we can get. With Structures Plus+ coming to the base game that's on mods maybe not need in the future maybe.   30. agree with code about the challenge of pve that way we still have fun in that regard. Also. Different Ark sessions would be nice the have a change of pace every now and thing.. Mods: i dont really care for having to many due to if 1 breaks and it crash the server and say someone isnt around to deactivate it, no one could play. Increased rates: Breeding and Taming. im fine with those. maybe x2 or x3 harvesting. but that dont matter to me. and Engrame pts to make sure we can unlock everything but that also doesnt matter. Server type: Primitive or Full blown are both fine with me. but there is alot in the full blown that i havent gotten to experience and i liked to. and there seems to be a decent amount of things.

Warpigs is a semi-hardcore multi game community, for both MMOs and other genres. Our core, which has largely remained the same, started back in 2014. Warpigs first got started in Wildstar and has since branched out to several other game including, Black Desert Online, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm as some of our most active games. We also have a strong internal following for both Dauntless and Ashes of Creation.
 

Warpigs function as a tight knit family-esque guild, which is not to say that our conversations are G-rated. Quite the opposite, but when you're one of us, we've got your back. Words fly pretty freely, and I'm always of the opinion that if you play an MMO, or any game with a social player base, you need thick skin and know not to take things personally.
