  1. Spellslinger Healing Guide About the Author – Hey all!! My name is BoomHeadShot, and I have been playing a Spellslinger since early beta. I started out as a main DPS, but have always been a flex healers. Recently I have taken over the role of main slinger heals ever since we lost Smuggles, a few months back. This guide is meant to be a quick overview of our healing abilities, different LAS builds, and stat priority for runes. If you have any question feel free to ask me any time. Ability Breakdown – What situations to use certain abilities Primary Healing Ability – pick 1 Runic Healing (RH) – Single target healing only really used for tank healing. Always T8. Vitality Burst (VB) – Chargeable heal for yourself and 4 people. Good for dungeon/raid healing. Always T8. To heal effectively with VB, I suggest using at least charge 2. Charge 1 and 3 can be used in certain situations, but charge 2 is going to get you the most output for the length of the cast time. Duel Fire (DF) – Heal and DPS at the same time!! Not used until getting 2/3 RMT class set. Eats through focus. Always at T8 Support Abilities Runes of Protection (RoP) – Absorb for yourself and 4 people. Used preemptively to mitigate damage. Example: On System Daemons put RoP on the 2 or 3 people that are about to get hit with purge. Astral Infusion (AI) – Single target absorb and HOT, at T8 can prevent death. Not really used unless tank healing or you have 3/3 RMT class set then it replaces RoP. Healing Salve (Salve) – Heal over time for 9 people and yourself, also Voidspring (VS) – Freeform AOE HOT that can be place where you want. T4 increases incoming healing, and T8 reduces all damage taken. This ability is used for specific fights when you know the raid is going to be stacked up for most of the fight. I typically will tier this up to T4 when tank healing. I use T8 when I know the raid will be stacked and taking a lot of damage, this would be fights like the mini bosses in Ice Wing of Datascape. Sustain – Large charged heal for yourself and 4 people, and at T8 can heal yourself and 9 people. Good for raid healing at T8. Charge 1 or 2 are both effective but try to use charge 2 if you have the time to charge. Regenerative Pulse (RP) – Single target burst heal. This is your “Oh shit!!!” heal. T4 allows you to use twice and cooldown only triggered if used twice within 5 seconds of first use. This is really good for burst heal fights like Lattice and Gloomclaw. Sigil of Recovery (Sigil) – Target marked with Sigil will heal anyone that damages the target with Sigil. God mode healing. Matrix ability T4 is a must have, and T8 still on the fence about. Healing Torrent (HT) – AMP acquired ability and is never used. Once you get enough AMP points from the Matrix you can get this ability, as last resort. Only really used at T4 for burst healing fights like Lattice and Gloomclaw, and might be good for tank healing. Utility Abilities Void Pact (VP) – Raid wide buff to Assault and Support Power, also provides a small movement speed increase. Always at T8 to ensure 100% uptime. If there is another Healslinger in the raid then you both can run T4 to maintain 100% uptime and use the extra ability points elsewhere. Gather Focus (GF) – Increases Focus Recovery Rate (FRR) but can’t move while casting. Only really used if you have focus issues. When running T8 DF you would want to run T4 or T8 GF. T4 makes the cast instant, and T8 increases healing by 20% for 10 seconds. Purify – Cleanses 2 debuffs from yourself and 4 people. Only a few fights that put cleansable debuffs on people. Void Slip (Void) – Pulls you into safety/threat drop. Typically, always on my bar unless a cleanse or extra interrupt is needed. Arcane Shock (AS) – Interrupt and purges 1 buff from enemies. Always on my bar unless cleanse/void is needed. Spatial Shift (Shift) – Interrupt and disorient. Only used when needing 3 interrupts, but if a healer has to run that many interrupts there are bigger issues at hand. Gate – Interrupt and movement ability. Always on my bar. Healing AMPs Notes on AMPs Homeward Bound is optional, but can be very helpful on progression fights. Void Stone can be replaced with any of the other tier 2 AMPs. Augmented Armor – Not used in this build, but is good if you are running Salve and/or RoP. Take points out of Locked and Loaded or Homeward Bound. Healing Aura – Not used in this build, but good to use if not running Homeward Bound Intensity – Not used in this build, but good place to put AMPs earned through the Matrix Urgency – Not used in this build, but good place to put AMPs earned through the Matrix LAS for Pre RMT and Matrix Ability Tank Healing Dungeon/Raid Healing Burst Heals Burst Heals with Healing Torrent Post RMT and Matrix Build Duel Fire – This build can be set up three separate ways, one being the one in the pictures below, the second would be T8 Gather Focus and base Sigil, and the third T8 Sigil and base Gather Focus. All three are viable just depends on the fight. Duel Fire/Base Gather Focus – This build is used when you need to use ability points on other abilities like Void Spring or Healing Salve. Runes and Stats GA Class Set – Prevention 8/8 *vital* DS Class Set – Surge Life 4/8 *only go 8/8 once you upgrade to 140 runes* RMT Class Set – voice From Beyond 3/3 *can get by with 2/3* Sets to use – 120 and below: Cynosure and Resurgence, 130+: Vim, Intensification, Resumption, Basher. Fusion Runes – Harmony (head), Overflow (gun), Soothing Light (hands), Virtuous Circle (chest), and optional Quick Feet (boots). Pre RMT – You want to prioritize Focus Pool and Focus Recovery Rate then multi-hit and/or crit-hit. You want to get your Focus Recovery Rate as close to 1.5%, soft cap, as you can, and your Focus Pool to about 1,800. Post RMT – The stat priority is the same prior to RMT. The only difference is that now we want to push our Focus Pool to over 2,000. I am currently at 1.4% and after eating FRR food and boost I get to about 1.48%. You also want to get your Focus Pool to about 2 thousand.

About us

Warpigs is a semi-hardcore multi game community, for both MMOs and other genres. Our core, which has largely remained the same, started back in 2014. Warpigs first got started in Wildstar and has since branched out to several other game including, Black Desert Online, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm as some of our most active games. We also have a strong internal following for both Dauntless and Ashes of Creation.

Warpigs function as a tight knit family-esque guild, which is not to say that our conversations are G-rated. Quite the opposite, but when you're one of us, we've got your back. Words fly pretty freely, and I'm always of the opinion that if you play an MMO, or any game with a social player base, you need thick skin and know not to take things personally. With that being said, we are a well organised and have a fairly mature membership, and as such we offer a very stable guild that we hope will be here for many more years to come.

Warpigs are dedicated to a friendly, team focused, fun-loving gaming environment where every member is important and not just a number on a roster. We seek to foster long term friendships among members and enhance the online gaming experience by virtue of those friendships.
