Improved functionality and fixed multiple bugs related to button mapping. Slayers will now have a fancy spotlight shining on them in the airship lobby. Work it girl, give a twirl! Fixed a bug where controllers were unable to scroll down all the way in crafting menus. Fixed a bug where Slayers appeared to craft supplies multiple times despite not having the materials. Fixed a bug where the axe combo screen showed incorrect inputs. Fixed multiple typos and removed unnecessary quest text. KNOWN ISSUES Players can sometimes get into a bad state if inviting each other at the same time. We are working on a systemic fix for this but in the meantime this can be temporarily resolved by opening your Gameplay settings in the Options menu, toggling to block all party invites, and then changing back to your original invite settings. If you get stuck anywhere while in Ramsgate or out on a hunt: Open the escape menu, go to the Help section in the top right, and then press “Help, I’m Stuck!” This will set you back to your last known good location and give us additional information about where players are getting trapped. Exotics may interact with each other in unintended and exotic ways. We are working on making these play nicer! We are aware that some users are getting disconnected after every hunt and we are investigating the cause. Slayer body types may not correctly display in airship lobbies. Razorwing Kharabak icons may not show up for its weapons or armour. Behemoths may occasionally walk in irregular patterns. Fix this by slaying them. We’re serious. If they do this, slay them.

The Strix II is rather appealing. I put in for a preorder yesterday for the MSI G65 Thin. I was able to find the Strix II for $100 cheaper. It is a larger laptop - although it doesnt seem to be accessively big and it has a full size 1070 inside, vs the MSI Max-Q 1070. OH! I forgot to add that the Strix II also provides a 1TB SSD in addition to the 250 NVMe drive. For about $100 less its providing about $300 more disk space and a more powerful GPU. ... a faster screen response time too, 3ms instead of MSIs 7ms. Another update on it, both laptops are similar in size and weight. While I feel the MSI is visually the better laptop. I watched this yesterday and found it to be pretty entertaining. Not to nitpick the video but I believe there was too much focus on the 40 main raid. While it was undoubtedly a buy point for some people, this was experienced by very few people and I do not believe removing this had too large of an impact on the player base. Also the video makes it sound like housing as a whole was not introduced until late in the games life. I believe he means, and it would be more accurate to say, community housing was released later in the games life. All and all, I agree with you Haboo. I believe a lot of the issues concerning us players were the bugs and the lack of polish. I would also buy Wildstar again if it was an option.

It looks like I am now in the market for a new laptop. My last laptop I used for game has reached a nice ripe age of 7 years and my surface book looks to have found itself a nice cracked screen. Time to upgrade! Here are a few of the more interesting laptops I have found, all within the slim gaming category.

Along with these weeks announcement for the new Battlefield game, it looks like EA also announced that there will not be any premium service or paid DLC. In the past there would be a type of premium battle pass that one could buy which would generally be cheaper then buying the DLC independently, give earlier access to the new maps, and would allow you to 'skip the line' when loading into a full game, getting ahead of all non premium players. Instead of this EA is opting for a play for cosmetics model and I find this to be rather exciting. IF I end up buying the game, at no point will I need to pay for maps, and if its a game I truly enjoy, there will now be ways for me to customize my character - which is something I have yet to do in a shooter. Now here is hoping that the cosmetics are at reasonable prices... BDO, im looking at you. The new Battlefield game (Battlefield 5) was announced the other on Wednesday. It looks to be in a WW2 settings as predicted. I am a rather big Battlefield fan and while lately I have been playing primarily MMOs, I do consider my genre of choice to be FPS. I dumped a lot of time into Battlefield 3 and then less time in Battlefield 4 due to college. - eh, responsibility and all that jazz. I wasn't thrilled with Battlefield 1 and I am rather hesitant to buy into Battlefield 5 due to the similar setting. I much prefer futuristic war (Battlefield 2142) but I quite enjoy the modern setting as well. There is plenty of time to learn and every try the new Battlefield before its release in October. I did want to link the game trailer. As far as I know its not actual gameplay - but it is possible it is from the campaign. First video is the trailer. Second video, which I find more exciting is additional information on the game coming from Levelcap, he is a rather large voice from the Battlefield community. I recommend checking out both links below.

Dauntless is currently in Pre-Open Beta with Open Beta (along with a character wipe) May 24th. Check out Fevir's video below for a good overview on how much has changed since we last played the game. I will be updating the game tonight, hopefully we can find time between boss scrolls to pop in and get a feel for the game again. One of the most exciting changes has to be the new island layouts.
