I hopped onto Crowfall last night to checkout the update and it is fantastic. If you backed the game I highly recommend you try out this latest update. If you have not backed the game but have interest let me know, Crowfall has sent out an email (I assume to all backers) that provides access to the 5.8 update for five people.

Ashes of Creation's new website is up now making it so everyone (not only backers) can now download / install and play AoC Apocalypse. I believe there are three game modes to play, one being battle royal, another a PvE castle siege, and I am currently blanking on the third. All cosmetics acquired through this testing will be transferred into the live game as a thank you for participating. As always please keep in mind this is Alpha (although, yes, it is being called an open beta - this is referring to the test and not the state of the game). I think most of us will be on day one, if not just a little later in the day after its initial launch. Ojore, do you know how guild names in the game are going to work - I would love to know what would need to be done to secure the Warpigs name as fast as possible.

Understood. Is there any base building as well are is this game designed in a way to always keep us moving from one location to another? In Eve we would typically have a *home* system and station. I believe I heard that in this game we wouldn't necessarily be able to control were we go, as this will largely be dictated by the direction of the winds. - I wonder if we will have any sense of a *home* in this game, if we run the chance of not being able to get back to home in a reasonable amount of time. Depending on the length of travel, I would find the above exciting, not knowing when the next time I will be able to make it home, I feel that adds more to the adventure.

Ashes of Creation will have an open beta of the Alpha 1 content starting December 18th. In this open beta there will be three game modes for play / testing, those are: Battle Royale, Castle Sieges, and Co-Op Horde. Taking part in this beta will unlock cosmetics that will follow you into the live game. Thanks to everyone that was able to vote and leave feedback. Tomorrow night I will be placing the finalists and giving them feedback on each design. Would like to investigate different emblems and colors. Try a Brown and white color scheme, to match the pig picture in the brief. Possibly add more detail to the body. See how Warpigs Gaming Community works. (Add gaming text to the logo) 56: Face on and arms crossed Or hold on to the words. Increase the size of the logo. 52: Remove extra three eyes and saddle. Put the tail in a downward position. Try a Brown and white color scheme, to match the pig picture in the brief. 60: Try a different font and remove the star from the A. Would like to see a different emblem used. Like to see the Warpig coming through the emblem instead of just sitting on top of it.

All comments will be compiled into a list and present to each designer for their respective logo to be iterated upon. We have moved forward and started a design contest with 99designs. Over the next four days, the hope is designers on the site will see the contest and submit a draft. If we like a draft we can pick it to move on to a final round. Otherwise the plain is to cancel the contest and find a single designer to make us the new logo. About us
Warpigs is a semi-hardcore multi game community, for both MMOs and other genres. Our core, which has largely remained the same, started back in 2014. Warpigs first got started in Wildstar and has since branched out to several other game including, Black Desert Online, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm as some of our most active games. We also have a strong internal following for both Dauntless and Ashes of Creation.
Warpigs function as a tight knit family-esque guild, which is not to say that our conversations are G-rated. Quite the opposite, but when you're one of us, we've got your back. Words fly pretty freely, and I'm always of the opinion that if you play an MMO, or any game with a social player base, you need thick skin and know not to take things personally. With that being said, we are a well organised and have a fairly mature membership, and as such we offer a very stable guild that we hope will be here for many more years to come.
Warpigs are dedicated to a friendly, team focused, fun-loving gaming environment where every member is important and not just a number on a roster. We seek to foster long term friendships among members and enhance the online gaming experience by virtue of those friendships.
